Yes, you still need high-converting copy, Creative that gets attention and fire product pages! But you no longer need a degree in advanced rocket science to get a successful campaign up!

If you need to know who to target, check out our Facebook Ads Audience issue here. (This will help)

Here are the only three campaigns you need to grow your business into multiple seven figures and beyond with Meta ads.

Retargeting Campaign:

Retargeting campaigns re-engage with people who have previously interacted with your brand, such as visiting your website, adding items to their cart, or engaging with your Facebook/Instagram page.

Here is how you set it up:

#1. Define your audience: Determine who you want to target with your retargeting campaign. You can create a custom audience of people who have visited your website, added items to their cart, or made a purchase.

#2. Choose your ad format: Select an ad format that best aligns with your goals. Some options include carousel ads, single image ads, and video ads.

#3. Set your budget: Decide how much you want to spend on your retargeting campaign.

#4. Copy & Angles: Come up with 3 angles that you think your market would respond to and write different variations for those angles to test.

#5. Create your ad: Use Facebook's ad creation tools to design your ad and add text, images, and videos.

#6. Launch your campaign: Submit your ad for review and launch your retargeting campaign.

Example:

  • Retargeting Campaign

  • CBO> 3 Warm Audiences > 3 Angles

  • $50 A Day

  • Conversion Objective

  • Both Images and Videos

  • Audiences: VC, ATC, IC

Testing Campaign:

Testing campaigns are for just that… Testing! Test, test, and test some more! The more you test, the faster you will find what your audience is responding to, and the quicker you can duplicate your winner to the scaling campaign!

Here is how you set it up:

#1. Define your audience: Determine who you want to target with your testing campaign. Select 5 cold audiences that you believe would be a good fit for your product.

#2. Choose your ad format: Select an ad format that best aligns with your goals. In testing, we want to use Dynamic Ads to leverage Meta's super smart algorithm to test our creative & copy more efficiently. Both video & Images are recommended.

#3. Set your budget: Decide how much you want to spend on your testing campaign. Keep in mind that you may need to run multiple tests to get the results you're looking for.

#4. Copy & Angles: Create 5 angles your market would likely respond to and write different variations for those angles to test.

#5. Create your ad: Use Facebook's ad creation tools to design your ad and add text, images, and videos.

#6. Launch your campaign: Submit your ad for review and launch your testing campaign.

Example:

  • Testing Campaign

  • CBO > 5 Cold Intrest Audiences > 5 Angles

  • $200 A Day

  • Dynamic Creative

  • Conversion Objective

  • 5 copy, 3 Images, 2 Videos

If Profitable, continue until you get 50 sales and start a scaling campaign.

If not profitable, test new audiences and new angles until you hit 50 sales with a single campaign. Meta needs 15-25 conversions a day to optimize fully.

Scaling Campaign:

A scaling campaign is used after a testing campaign has identified the most effective elements of an ad, such as the headline, images, call to action, target audiences, and more.

Here is how you set it up:

#1. Review your results: Look at the results of your testing campaigns to determine which ads performed best and popped off. Take note of all of the best primary text, creative, headlines, descriptions and audiences.

#2. Set your budget: Decide how much you want to spend on your scaling campaign. Keep in mind that after the original budget is selected you should only increase it 15 - 30% a day without sending the campaign back into learning mode.

#3. Create A Scaling CBO: Build or duplicate your successful testing campaigns inside your scaling campaign with a higher budget.

#4. Launch your campaign: Submit your ad for review and launch your scaling campaign.

#5. Scale your campaign: increase the budget by 15 - 30% every 24 hours to avoid resetting the learning phase.

Pro Tip: Never turn off the testing campaigns if they are working. Sometimes we will need to duplicate the winning ad three or more times depending on the ad's auction placement.

Example:

  • Scaling Campaign

  • CBO> Winning Audience > Winning Angles & Creative

  • $500 A Day

  • Conversion Objective

  • Winning Videos/Images/Headlines/Primary Text & Descriptions.
