Black Friday

In 2022, Black Friday is projected to fall on November 25th. In recent years, Black Friday deals have been expanded to include sales starting on Thanksgiving Thursday and continuing through Cyber Monday. This year, Future Publishing predicts that Black Friday will generate $158 billion in total sales.

Have you ever heard of a Save The Date Campaign? This super simple yet highly effective way to build anticipation for your epic BF/CM sales. Similar to a wedding or any big event you have been invited to in the past.

You want to tell your audience to “save the date” for your upcoming event.

E.G., Your Black Friday Sale!Note: You can run these on any platform.

Step one: Go to Canva.com

  1. Search for “Facebook Ad”

  2. Select a design you like.

3. Edit to fit your needs

Things to keep in mind when designing.

  • Your Branding & Colors

  • The Date & Time To Save

  • What To Expect On That Date.

4. Save the image as an MP4.

Click Share [Top Right]-> Download -> Select MP4 -> Download

Now we have a 5 sec. video for our “save the date” campaign.

Step Two: Go to your Facebook account.

1. Create A New “Engagement” Ad.

2. Create a custom audience from your warm traffic sources: Video Views, Instagram, and Website visits.

3. Run at $20 - $100 (depending on budget) per day up to the launch date.

4. Create An Ad like this:

Optional: You can send traffic to a landing page (collect an email) or chatbot.

Step Three: Launch

  1. Run “Awareness” Ads to anyone who has viewed or engaged with your “Save the date” campaign.

  2. This audience is primed and will be one of your most profitable ad sets this holiday season! :)
