The 90-Day Action Planning Process is super powerful, and if Implemented you can build your business drastically.
Happy holidays and Happy planning!
Let’s get into it…
Actionable
Today’s issue is about creating a 90-day action plan to help you get the most out of 2023, gain clarity and drive growth in your business.
I’m going to distill the whole process for you here.
So why do you need a 90-day action plan?
Your emotions determine your thoughts!
Your thoughts determine your actions!
Your actions determine your results!
And your results determine your emotions!
Understanding this cycle that all humans must use to build anything in life. You can create a roadmap for the next 90 days that will allow you to think thoughts, take actions, get results and feel great because they are aligned with your overall goals of growing your business.
In other words, you can become clear and focused on what is essential to scale your business over the next 90 days.
Step #1
What you are going to do is get into a relaxed state. Meditation works great for this, so your mind is as clear as possible.
Step #2
Take a blank piece of paper and dump all of your thoughts, fears, and aspirations about your business on this page. We call this a brain dump!
Here are questions to ask yourself to get things flowing:
What have I been putting off in my business?
What were some of the biggest problems we have in the business?
What could we do to solve these problems?
What skill could I learn to make 2023 more successful?
Who could I hire this year to make 2023 more successful?
This may take 15min. Or it could take an hour+.
Once you have no more ideas to write on the paper in front of you. Start organizing them in accordance with the list below.
Step #3
On a new piece of paper, write down the six buckets in your business. Plus, a later bucket for things you will not be able to tackle in the next 90 days. (Seven Buckets In Total) See below:
Marketing
Sales
Product(s)
Opps & Teams
Finance
Mindset
Later Bucket
Take a look at your brain dump and start to organize it by placing them in their respective buckets. If you see problems attempt to put the solution under its related section.
That will look something like this:
Overview Of The Process:
A possible problem from the brain dump:
We have been getting more than usual complaints and returns on this one [Product Name].
A possible solution to be listed in your bucket:
I need to reach out and talk to the manufacturer to see if we can make adjustments or source a new manufacturer.
Then ask yourself...
Is this critical to be done in the next 90 days?
If yes… list It under the “product” section. As an action Item.
If no… put it in the later bucket. Forget about it for the next 90 days.
That’s it!
Go through them one by one, getting things organized and placing them in their related buckets.
You will end up with a list of business problems you can solve in the next 90 days.
Step #4
Now that you have a list of action Items that need to be solved in the next 90 days. Start deligating them or scheduling them for yourself to get them done. *Note that not all problems are created equal, and you must prioritize what will move the needle most for your business!
Cool, right!
Step #5
Now every 90 days moving forward, you will review and redo this process, and that is how you scale your business!
It will reduce overwhelm and provide immense clarity. Allowing you to get all of “the right” stuff done in a timely manner!
Now your next steps:
When you get some free time over the holiday, Implement this planning/scaling process and start seeing results immediately!
Have fun planning, and Have a wonderful holiday!
